The situation is now so bad that most people think that all incels far right extremists and aspiring school shooters, while in actuality most incels are just chill people who suffer due to their looks, height, neurodivergence or all of the above. In essence school shooters give the media a perfect scapegoat to blame and project so called ''misogynists''. It has become so bad that even the term ''incel'' to most normies has just been relegated to an insult and thus has lost it's original meaning. Also another thing to point out is that school shootings give governments the perfect opportunities to limit free speech, increase mass surveillance, increase gun control etc.

TLDR: School shooters are counter intuitive because they give governments and the media the perfect excuse to hate incels even more.
