Why should anything I say inflict a reaction

I’m on the autism spectrum, and I’m starting to understand that maybe it isn’t about what you say, but how you say it and how it comes out.

Nothing you say actually matters, it's always about how it makes the person feel.

Whether it be the tone of your voice or the gestures you make, the only thing people truly remember are the emotions they've connected to a memory, not the actual words or meaning.
