HA implants arnt new by themselves and have been around for awhile. Australian surgeon Brian Mendelson already uses them I think but the concept is entirely around this time. These implants are 3rd printed without any granules and this literally fuses into ur own bone much much better than silicon, PEEK and titanium. This is literally the next big thing

They already use these for cranium deformities but the problem is it isn't ready for cosmetic purpose just yet.
