autists tend to have birth defects or physical developmental problems that negatively affect features like their jawlines and eye areas. those that somehow dont have these defects and are actually handsome despite the odds, will more often than not be mentally retarded, i.e. have a sub-70 IQ, and/or be non-verbal and hence won't go very far in the industry due to communication and comprehension difficulties.
