I feel great after taking raw garlic and spinach and sleep better because of it

Vegetables are probably the single best food group in nutrient value, are linked with increased health outcomes and include many nutrients linked with healthy development and hormones

It's possible to not eat any vegetables and be relatively decent in health with careful supplementation and ingesting plenty of fruits, nuts and grains, but it would be far easier to do so while vegetarian

Vegetables aren't "toxic", you can literally consume the maximum RDI of even the highest Oxalate plant and your kidneys will handle it like any other regular day because small amounts in the urinary tract is normal and your body has evolved to handle it over millions of years or eating mostly plants

On the flip side, *excessive* red meat intake is linked with cancer, and the cause isn't exactly known
