a "rounder" face is not a bad thing, only when it is caused by high bodyfat.
When its caused by projecting cheekbones and wide maxilla/mandible thats a good thing

Wider palette is wider face. Wider face is generally better.

Wider palette also expands the zygos slightly. See my Avi for MSE before and after where they widened the palette. Here is a before of after of someone who had MSE + AGGA to widen the face.
