Why Was the Manslaugher of George Floyd Automatically Considered an Act of "Racism" by the Public?

To this day, I have yet to see someone present a shred of evidence that Derek Chauvin's act towards George Floyd was motivated by racism. Yet, in typical knee-jerk fashion, this incident caused the entire world to go ballistic, with protests, rioting, dismantling of statues, and calling for the defunding--and even abolishment--of the police (because they're "raaacist!"). It was absolutely juvenile and irresponsible. These people process everything through the prism of "race", "gender", "sexual orientation", and all the other leftist garbage with which they've been indoctrinated since childhood.

Derek Chauvin was reckless and incompetent, which resulted in a man's death. He was fired and convicted of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter, all of which are non-premeditated acts. But this didn't stop the cuck leftists, that run the media, from flooding TV commercials with African-Americans, at a rate that far outweighs their actual percentage of the U.S. population. It also didn't stop states, like California, from outlawing all-white-male boardrooms, or politicians from proposing "infrastructure" bills that called for demolishing existing highways in order to "reintegrate" neighborhoods.

What the hell do these initiatives have to do with a senseless killing, that was proven in a court of law to not involve racism? Answer: absolutely nothing. This was simply virtue signaling run amok, and a convenient excuse by the liberal establishment to further advance their radical agenda.

Again, "#racism" isn't necessarily the cause of every incident involving a black and white individual. This hysteria needs to stop. Grow the fuck up.

Exactly. Allowing black criminals--ahem, I mean "peaceful protesters"--to chimp out, along with the hysterical university thots that support them, takes precedence over #covid.

It probably wasn’t related to race but chauvin deserves his prison sentence
True, and that means all the hysteria in the wake of George Floyd was completely unjustified.

-The statues, that were taken down, should go right back up.

- Advertisers should immediately get out of the business of using commercials as vehicles of political propaganda. Get back to using them for what they were meant: selling products and services.

- All the state laws mandating the race or sex of the people you hire should be rolled back. They are unconstitutional. Businesses should decide which applicants they choose to hire.

- All the rampant lockstep social media censorship, that's spread like leprosy in medieval India, should immediately stop. Allow free speech, and let people decide whether a comment is worthy or not, not some Orwellian algorithm. Fucking fascists. This nonsense was much less prevalent before #Floyd.

- Immediately free those white people that committed minor infractions in the past 2 years, but were instead charged with "hate crimes". They shouldn't be scapegoats for deranged DA's, who've been virtue signaling and pandering to the mobs ever since George Floyd caused an international hysteria.

I can go on for pages, but you get the picture.

it's not that Derek Chauvin was a racist, more that he is apart of an institution that has a tendency to be racist. the reason why people were protesting the murder was because the police have a tendency to protect their own and discredit any manslaughters that occur during police service. Especially when it comes to blacks.

Do you think that the police would have convicted Derek if it wasn't recorded? or if people didn't protest? Derek has had complaints of police brutality in the past and nothing came out of it. this is a problem.

black men get more time on average than white men who commit the same crime. this is unfair.

People like to think that racism doesn't exist anymore despite people being still being alive from the Jim Crow era. there will still be some residual damages done to the black community, and its effect will is noticed in the police.

I'll admit, there are people who don't even know why they are protesting and lefties can be really fucking dumb. Like in the Jacob Blake case. the police were completely justified. but fucking lol that doesn't make the protest fundamentally wrong.

it wasn't lol, and people do stupid shit. that doesn't mean that the protest is fundamentally wrong. if you can see how stupid people can be in this case, it should be clear why this pandemic will last longer than it should. and ironically, if we were actually orwellian we would have gotten through it sooner.

advertisers have the right to advertise whatever they want. if they want to appeal to the masses by supporting a consensus then they have the right to do so. telling them what they can and can't promote sounds more like propaganda to me. especially regarding something like this.

this is the only one i can partly agree with. if it comes to surgeons and lawyers then the best people should be put in the job. but if we have two applicants to a medical school both with the same grades and aptitude for the course in question. one should consider the black applicant more carefully because it's more likely that their conditions were vastly different.
i deleted all of the points i deemed irrelevant or boring.

Because Democrats and Socialists in the media try to find evidence of racism whereever and whenever they can. It is good for ratings, but more importantly it helps to secure and galvanize the black vote, if blacks were not constantly told that they were being discriminated against, most of them would not vote. Same dynamic holds to a lesser degree to Muslims, Asians, Gays, and Women (muh Abortion rights).

The racism angle also is effective in getting a small but significant percentage of young white women to vote for Dems, because empathy.

The protests were fundamentally wrong. Why? Because justice was served-- Chauvin lost his job and his freedom for at least a quarter of a century. What more do these Marxist jackals want, to have his entire extended family hung by their genitals in a public square?

Once upon a time, people only protested in response to an injustice (e.g. an unpunished crime, a wrongful conviction, etc.), but the last 2-3 generations have grown up so entitled and narcissistic that they feel the need to 'protest' everything, regardless of context. It's like they're constantly looking to create their own Woodstock moment, so they can take selfies to upload to Instagram. They seriously need to get over themselves. It's ridiculous.
____________________________________________________________________

Except that they're not appealing "to the masses", or supporting a "consensus". They're just seizing the chance to become activists and promote their progressive agenda on a large scale, which was their dream since high school, and now, they can get away with it, without blowback.

Believe it or not, this is still a fairly center-right country. Most people in America are not woke fucktards. The media only gives you the impression that the country is filled with them.
_____________________________________________________________________

Why should we automatically give the advantage to the black applicant over the white one? Wouldn't it make more sense to distinguish two equally qualified applicants by their economic situation, rather than their race? Affirmative Action is evil. Remember that.

no it wasn't. not only has your argument changed, you're speaking after the fact. the protests happened before the trial so what you're saying right now doesn't make any sense.

what is this even about? i very clearly explained to you that the police is an institution that protects its own. it's ironic that you're against the protests. if it weren't for the protests justice wouldn't have been served in the first place.

In addition to this, there is nothing wrong with protesting before and after a trial. why would you rather protest an outcome that has already been made?

what the hell was this?

this made so little sense regarding advertising that I don't have the patience to break it down and explain it to someone who is just going to pivot anyway.

Believe it or not, this is still a fairly center-right country. Most people in America are not woke fucktards. The media only gives you the impression that the country is filled with them.
so? someone can't be on the right and support BLM at the same time? this is so far away from your original argument that i don't even know why i am addressing it.

I'll admit affirmative action wasn't the best strategy because putting a bunch of underscoring black kids at harvard isn't doing them any favors. they end up dropping out anyway.

But as you are literally proving to me right now people are still very averse to black people for terrible reasons. Here, we have a crime committed and rightfully people have decided to protest against it. and here you are against it for no real reason.

through this mental gymnastics you're doing right now you can hardly stay on point alluding to shit that is so irrelevant that you'd be better off just being outright racist. This right here is what black people have to deal with. people who are racist who pretend they aren't and it limits blacks in ways that we as a society are trying to find. we have found it in the police and we have protested against. we have since moved on and you haven't for some reason.

Read my words carefully and contemplate your real attitudes of the plight of blacks in America.

Imagine if Daniel Shaver had been black lol

his case was arguably a hundred times more fucked up than floyd's but pretty much everyone ignored the story

the psychopath cop that shot him is now living on a fat pension and he's free

if you want you can start a movement in support of him you can. there is nothing stopping you. if you feel that whites are being persecuted unfairly in the US then start a white lives matter movement.

if you don't feel like doing that then that is nobody else's problem but your own.

if you don't care enough then why should anyone else? if black people start a movement and give a shit enough to kick up a stink then you can't blame em.

what you have is bigots, who put on a fake act as if their not racist bigots and play dumb. They do so in turn to distract and throw off black peoples fight for justice. Some black guy is at a building, some bigot calls the cop and says their is some weird black guy i don't think he belongs here. The police come and are on code with the caller, and play dumb, next thing you know the black guy is shot and killed, and everyone plays stupid.

Some will go as far to say, why are these guys protesting, their making civil disorder, and say those that protest should be shot or killed. Notice i didn't say looters, thats one slick trick bigots try to do, lump up protestors and looters together to justify people protesting. The kyle case, this guy pointed hes loaded gun at a group of blacks in a car, and demanded they get out. Kyle later went to the protest and the same people noticed it was kyle and told him to get the fuck outa here.

The judge put a court order that no video or evidence of kyle doing this, or him driving around earlier saying he wish he had hes gun to shoot the protestors , was thrown out. He was trying to sneak up on the protestors to shoot them, and some folks in the crowd noticed him, and confronted him, and lost their lives for it. Now everyone is playing stupid.

sorry man, there is where I have disagree with you. you can't really make a case on just what people say because other people have to attest to it. Kyle was innocent in my eyes and rightfully acquitted. when someone threatens your life you are obligated to flee and alert the authorities. you don't confront a man with an assault rifle without an assault rifle that's just stupid to begin with.

nobody made a complaint of a boy holding a rifle threatening them to the police. only after the fact, and that is subject to bias. it's not impossible but there is no evidence to suggest it. Kyle was on video running away from a man who threw a bottle at him. Kyle then turned and shot the man chasing him and had every right to do so. if what you said initially was true wouldn't it make more sense for Kyle to shoot him? why would he run away if that's what he came to do?

Then as he was running away again many people tried to attack him and take his gun away. if you are going to try and take someone's gun away from them they have every right to shoot you. this is him running away from them too. people should be running away after gun shots, not towards the assailant.

Kyle showed unbelievable restraint when dealing with the people closing the distance on him. One tried to hit him a skateboard and he shot all the people and turned himself in to the police.

Kyle rittenhouse had every right to be there just as much as everyone else because the rioters were destroying businesses that had nothing to do with a case of a police killing that was entirely justified.

Here, i can agree with the media blowing up a case that was completely justified, hiding the context behind it. Jacob Blake deserved to get his ass blasted and he is still alive today. Many people died because of people refusal to concede to reality which then people like OP like to hop on. I don't like Rittenhouse but he was in the right and so were the officers. The justice system isn't always wrong just when we don't like the result.

sorry dude.

How the hell has my argument changed??
I clearly stated that justice was served because Derick Chauvin lost his job and his freedom. In fact, he was arrested and charged literally 4 days after his incident, yet protests, looting, and rioting persisted for months on end.
What exactly was the purpose of all this drama and rampant thuggery?
Were the protesters and rioters demanding that Chauvin be found guilty, or else?
I'm sorry, but only the jury gets to decide that--after examining all the evidence--not angry mobs of hoodlums and brainwashed university thots.

The fact that you don't understand the rest of my responses shows just how little perspective you really have. So, I'll spell it out for you in simpler terms:

- Years ago, people only protested when a clear injustice was committed by the authorities.
An example of this would be if Derick Chauvin was never held accountable for his actions.
But he was held accountable, just 4 days later, in fact. In a less entitled era, this would have satisfied people, and they would've stopped protesting (or they would never have started at all).

- With regard to advertisers: They clearly have a leftist agenda, and want to influence people's opinions. Is that simple enough for you?

- To your last point about black people: WTF is this supposed to be?? You're implying that I'm a racist because I don't believe hiring decisions should be based on race?? Doesn't that make me exactly the opposite of a racist? (and make you one?)
You're employing the classic liberal tactic of making reckless accusations in order to shame and shut down debate. Ain't gonna work with me. I'm way too based for that, buddy.

Oh, I almost forgot to address this doozy in the end: Read my words carefully and contemplate your real attitudes of the plight of blacks in America.

I got a good chuckle from this piece of sanctimonious SJW preaching. It's reminiscent of Greta Thunberg.
What "plight" are you exactly referring to? The plight of being legally granted preferential treatment in school admissions and in hiring solely on the basis of their skin color?
You lefties seriously need to stop milking this notion that blacks are 'oppressed', as if it's 1950. It's getting old already. Just please stop. It's cringe.
