the whole internet was populated by incels back then before the smartphones and the normie invasion of nerd hobbies

Incels were only a small minority back then because hypergamy hadn't reached it's peak yet.

it started in the late 90s bro

Because back then it was dominated by the Pick Up Artist (PUA) movement and yes hypergamy wasn't quite as brutal although it's always been there. Incel/Blackpill eventually evolved from that as any guy with a brain could see that 'game' was mainly bullshit and it was all about looks especially after dating apps.

Because back then I made a pictureless dating profile on match.com and actually got several dates and dozens of messages from women by doing so. Not bots, actual women who would meet up and have sex.

Gen z'ers have no idea how much the difficulty level has been cranked up since a year like 2010. They assume dating has always been hard.
It hasn't, just 10-15 years ago even ogres could get laid with ok looking women (not models, but not uglies either).

Virginity rates (for men only, of course) skyrocketed around the time Tinder and other dating apps rolled out. Let that speak for itself.

why didnt dating apps in the 2000s make it clear tho back then.

a better question is WHY were boomers/ early milennials etc. not angry and upset/ ego sensitive as zoomers/ later milennials are? to the point of making all this andrew tate ER stuff a bigger deal

Girls actually responded before ((Tinder)) was a thing too. After 2012 felt like the difficulty was turned to Ultra Nightmare difficulty

Looksflation and its consequences

Inceldom is a result of rapid developments in technology that have isolated people and prevented organic forms of social interaction. Back then, the only incels were the super ugly and super autistic guys.

Early 2000s apps weren't in widespread use and also most PUA type guys were normie tier so with enough going out and chatting to women you CAN get laid, although not as much or as easily as a true Chad. It seemed that also in the early 2010s you had the rise of women that stay single forever as well, before that it wasn't widespread.

It was less likely for ugly males to be incels back then, but the most blackpilled movie was made in 1999 and is still relevant today.
The concept of inceldom and the economy based around sex was a thing back then.. Just not as much and prominent in society.

World fundamentally changed after 2007. If say it was the biggest change in a 15 year time period by far, arguably since the ending days of the 100 year war, or the end of the 16th century and what played out with European powers. Hell it might even be the biggest seismic shift since fall of Constantinople or even thr battle of varna, or conversely Vienna.

One day historians will look back on 2007-2020, and study it in that much detail.

I'm talking about Whatever (1999), the most blackpilled movie ever. It explains everything about inceldom/loneliness and how some men are doomed. Very depressing and nice movie to watch, it's french tho but it has subtitles.

of course the movie cover has a male pattern baldness guy on it, can’t go wrong

Ppl were less obsessed with looks

Inceldom has been around since man’s first civilization. Everything in cycles, nothing new under the sun

there was a pua subculture which is pretty much the same

the reason is simple though the number of incels was much lower, maybe up to 10x lower

Do you think it will ever get better or will it always stay a hell hole

The difficulty level will gradually rise higher and higher, until there is some kind of social pushback from men. Which is also harder to do now than prehistorically. Back then when a few men hoarded all the women, ordinary men could rebel with swords and axes. Now society is much more disorganized and there is really little room for armed resistance.

Plus it reflects badly on an ugly male to rebel against good looking men because the 'chad' isn't directly oppressing you in 2023, like the prehistorical aristocrat or noble who actually oppressed the average man financially while also taking their women.

Also, modern chads are not really monopolizing all women, they are only monopolizing the casual sex market. The relationship/marriage market still has room for ugly men who want to compensate with money. All sorts of ugly guys are getting married in 2023 if they have good jobs or lots of cash.

The only real resistance men who get completely left out of the matching loop have, would be general strikes and refusing to pay taxes, as most women don't work in the private sector & are very reliant on tax money (especially single moms).

Let's be real, these aren't going to happen in a developed country because social security networks ensure leftover men still have access to decent food, housing and entertainment.
It is only going to happen in arab or african countries where women completely refuse to date or marry the large masses of men while gathering in harems of a few top men, which is a key reason (along unemployment) causing constant revolutions in these places

Let's be real, whats your deal with ignoring my messages? Did you see my reply to you on the facial gains thread? It was something serious and I really wanted to hear your opinion on what I said especially for the body to maintain it youthful as one ages, but it got completely ignored. This happened to my other replies, but those weren't really as important. I thought you were here to help other looksmaxxers, but I guess not? What gives?

What are the odds that you have a quote of a guy named Leo too? Come on now.
