Why you look bad in some mirrors but good in others
-Lighting
lighting is the main reason you will look good in some mirrors and bad in others for example if your at school with the overhead fluorescent lights they will darken your eye bags and asymmetrys. you want to be in lighting that is smooth and warm that smooths out your features
-Mirror quality
some mirrors that are cracked or like banged or scratch can create small distortions that will make you look not like yourself. also some cheaper mirrors have distortions, thats just how there made. even small distortions can change how you look completely. some stores that sell stuff to skinny guys sometimes make the mirrors a little bit widely distorted (not noticeable) so people will buy their clothes
-Distance
obviously if your very close to a mirror its gonna warp your face it will make your nose look bigger standing 6 feet back gives the most real interpretation of how you look in real life
