The vast majority of men should never get in a relationship unless one of the following applies:
1) you really want to have kids (and you're not black so you want to be involved instead of leaving)
2) it's against your religion to have premarital sex
That automatically rules out 95% of users on this forum, so assuming you aren't the 5% with one of those, listen in
WHY GETTING A GF IS BAD
If you have a gf, you should break up with her immediately, and go to:
THE ALTERNATIVE: Just be friends with benefits bro. It's 100x better. You can smash whenever you want, and she's not your responsibility. No more cortisol spikes. You don't have to buy her shit. And you can even fw other girls too, and since she's not searching your phone or chronicling every minute of your day, she'll never know. All the benefits of a relationship, with none of the downsides. Breaking up with my gf was the best decision ever and I am never committing to a relationship again (unless I decide I want to get married)

You have to talk to it every day, and oftentimes feed it, buy it things, etc. I even had to take mine on walks or she would complain. Which gets old quick. I was in a 2 year relationship with a girl who HATED gifts and asked me not to get her anything most of the time, and I still spent around 1.5K total on her including gas to drive to see her. That's fucking insane. With 750 a year you could get a peptide stack, nootropics, and some super expensive gym
You will never get to hang out with the boys again. Between going to bed on call, not paying attention in class ecause she's crashing out and wants to argue, dates, anniversaries, fucking monthiversaries, etc, it's basically like working a full time job
Self explanatory, you can only have her, instead of being able to explore all of your options
"I didn't eat today" "Where are you" "What are you doing" "Why don't you do x" "Do you still love me" the list goes on. Your girl will come up with every single possible sentence combination to either complain and stress you out, or initiate conflict. Having a gf is like taking care of a self destructive toddler that simultaneously thinks you are it's abusive stepdad. And kiss sleep goodbye, because 75% of these arguments will be right when you are trying to go to bed, and she will make your life miserable if you dare ignore her while she's threatening suicide. The entire issue is made 100x worse because they have no prefrontal cortex and don't solve even the simplest problems (like drinking water when you have a headache from eating/drinking nothing in 3 days). They just want to make everything your problem and complain
Outside of sex and on the 1/100 chance she's having a good day, maybe affection or comfort or enjoying time together, women bring basically nothing to the table. You don't get anything out of dating, just an endless expenditure of your time and energy. The main benefit (sex) isn't exclusive to relationships, so why get in one in the first place?
