Bullying is natural among all male animals. They will try to out-alpha each other because if they intimidate their opposition they get the best females, food, shelter and respect.
Humans have been evolving for hundreds of thousands of years, it's true we are civilized to some degree but that has only been for a few thousand years and it will take a lot longer than that to undo all that evolution, e.g. there's a theory that the reason we find rain relaxing is because dangerous animals are probably not out hunting and our ancestors felt safe and we are the same way.
In this inceltv video they explain that when chimpanzees are too afraid to be confrontational they put their palm up in the hope that others will help and intervene. The beta male had his drink stolen put his palm up like a monkey and of course no one else helped because the guy with big frame and height established himself as superior to all the other males in that room.
Face is very important for dating and breeding because it shows high genetic quality which females want to reproduce with because it gives their offspring high chance of survival and success. Frame and height are by far more important for dominating other men in places where tensions will rise like the workplace, school playground, prison yard etc.
