Why you should only train the back of your neck

Building the front of your neck will reduce your submental space giving you a chubby look, building the sides of your neck should only be done with a pencil neck in terms of width. However, building the back muscles of your neck will give you a hooded look like this mogger

Doing neck curls backwards will do this by building the splenius and semispinalis muscles. This will also make your posture better and look way better with that straight firm neck look.

Do the neck curls like so adding weight with a cloth in between as pictured.

Side note, if you're worried about muscle imbalances from this train your front of the neck for strength by doing curls without weights and low volume.

Just get sleep apena theory. So low iq. This is the reason why bodybuilders look like shit bc of non functioning muscles

Unlikely to give yourself sleep apnea from neck training if you’re an average lifter who is natural. Maybe if you’re a 260lb mass monster that’s blasting gear
