What is neurodiversity?
Neurodiversity is a spectrum. It is impossible to give one set definition on who is neurotypical or neurodivergent. If everyone was placed on a scale, the vast majority would fall somewhere along the middle and this can be loosely defined as neurotypical range. I have no real statistics as to what percentage of general population falls within neurotypical cluster, but I believe it is the vast majority of people, including almost everyone on this forum. Deviations from what is the so called center would include things like autism, personality disorders and mental illness, among other things. More on this shortly.
What are social norms?
Social norms are a set of standards of socially accepted behaviour. They too are a spectrum. Unlike neurodiversity, social norms have extreme variation between different groups and classes whereas neurodiversity is a mostly universal between all nations, classes and creeds. What this means is that it is possible to identify an autist regardless if he is an Italian or an Eskimo, but identifying what is socially acceptable between these two groups will be wildly variable. There are some basic similarities and themes between all human groups, but how these things are interpreted vary wildly. It is generally not permitted to kill in any society; in some societies it might be completely forbidden through religion for example, but in others killing might sometimes seen as acceptable if done in self defense or retaliation (an eye for an eye), and so on.
What this means?
Someone with anti social personality disorder can be considered as neurodivergent. Majority of psychopaths and sociopaths (these are not medical terms) are not very intelligent and have high likelihood of incarceration, poor education outcomes and so on. However let's imagine a highly intelligent and successful sociopath. He is decidedly neurodivergent, but he is also socially successful, charismatic and popular.
Take a boy who has spent most of his life in his home country. Entirely neurotypical. Through some circumstance he moves to another, much wealthier country with culture that is very different to his own. Although neurotypical, he has a hard time adjusting and becomes a social outcast. Even though his behaviour is perfectly acceptable within his own group and he is neurotypical, he is unsuccessful, unpopular and picked on. He shuts off, rarely speaks to anyone and as a consequence becomes awkward and withdrawn.
What this means for you?
You, who reads this, are most likely neurotypical. If you're awkward and unpopular it is probably not because you have some form of rare, incurable autism or an affliction that makes you forever excluded from good social graces. Lack of socialisation can make anyone awkward. There have been cases of completely normal guys who were isolated for a very long time and they found it incredibly difficult to start talking to people again. Lookism also plays a role where halo and failo effect with decide many social outcomes.
It is very tiresome reading about lack of NT as some excuse why you're unpopular. Sometimes it is almost spoken as some unfixable flaw, almost in terms of magical thinking, like a permament curse of some sorts. In reality it is far from it. Even if you were ND to some degree, there are plenty of people who are ND and socially competent and popular. If you were debilitatingly ND it is unlikely you'd end up here in the first place.
So many of you will end up making 10k posts on .org in a few weeks and spend all of your time here and then wonder why you can't have a normal conversation IRL. Some of you will commit an even bigger sin of being ugly on top of that. I often hear of pipedreams of surgeries; once these dreams are realised you'll be able to order women off Tinder like pizza with no need for any degree of social competence. You dream of social acceptance while having a hard-line stance of lookism where you believe you will be able to say or do anything without repercussions if you happen to wake up as Meeks. Personality doesn't matter right?
The truth is that even if you were given 2PSL boost, if you're struggling now, you'd still be struggling then. If you're a socially awkward little faggot you need to work on it. Lookism is real, but if you're extremely socially retarded you will be seen as an outcast regardless of your looks level. Don't even bother coming up with extreme case like being > 6PSL; you will never look like some ethereal, beautiful Chad. Even if you somehow managed to pull it off you'd still have a serious handicap.
Almost all attractive people are well adjusted and popular. They have a social circle with social proof. The idea that you can exist as some rogue entity, a good looking loser, is very temping but not bound to reality. You'll be found out sooner or later. All women want a hot guy; but almost all women also want a successful, popular and charismatic hot guy. On what planet do you think that you will be competitive with someone who not only has looks but also charisma, social proof and competence?
Whether you like it these things matter. Your lack of these qualities has less to do with your so called 'autism' but with the fact that you're a delusional, lazy retard who wants everything to fall in their lap. You better work on these things like you'd work on your looks.
Work on meeting people IRL; socialise and form a social circle ASAP. The younger you are the easier it is. When you're past university social circles are harder to penetrate and most of your acquaintances will be boring wageslaves from work with nothing really going for them.
