Why’d she get humiliated and kinda mad when I said I didn’t want Starbucks

She came out from the back and said “want Starbucks?” And I said “no thanks” super fast and she said “ugh I hate you” and got red faced as if she felt rejected

I would have said yes but I don’t have money, what if she expected me to send her some or something
