There’s no mistaking this is a 2000s movie. Even in black and white. How come 1930s movies had low quality weird acting

I mean early on in cinema.

They knew much less tricks, had worse equipment and acting was extremely niche. They didn't have digital programs too so they couldn't add on layers of noise or visuals separately and stuff. Everything was more raw, thus the illusion in making such movies seem realistic could not be achieved. Ironic.
