It's a sign of masculinity , narrow mouth is a brutal failo , even more than lack of undereye support or big nose.
Wide mouth is a foundation of masculinie looks , make no mistake about it

I'm wondering if a huge amount of palatal expansion using an MSE would change the closed width a bit.

There's also the question of whether a wider mouth would even make me more harmonious.

it helps, but it's not make or break
the only make or break things are jaw, eyes, and midface
edit: actually, just jaw and midface, if you have a mogger jaw you can get away with having pretty shitty eyes, barring extremes (the reverse isn't true I know this from experience. I met a guy who legit had gigamogger tier a10 hunter eyes but with no jaw and a recessed chin, he looked like a legitimate serial killer and not in the good ramirez way)

My twin who's slimmer than me , he looks like uncanny mf , is his jaw bad or eyes , what is this? I mog him tenfold . I'm really not larping this time

I've only seen pics of you from far away with no/minimal lens distortion while that looks like a fucked up level of close up selfie
I wouldn't say that's uncanny though tbh
he also looks darker/darker undertone than what I remember of you, dunno if that's lighting though

He mostlikely has a tan , I don't have much other pics of him where he is not in a group photo

It's not a masculine feature, honestly. It's more of a universally good feature as both males and females look significantly worse with narrow mouths.

Hollow cheeks appear when you have little amount of tissue between your zygoma and mandible. Some people have more anteriorly projected cheekbones which helps with achieving bigger effect of sunken cheeks. In theory every human will get sunken cheeks , if he loses the tissue between his jaw and cheekbones . The anatomy of skull will not happen otherwise
