Widening the mandible with BSSO ?

I read some claims that BSSO not only advances the mandible forward , but also increases bigonial width to an extent .

One study suggested that 2 to 6 mm increase in bigonial width is expected in > 8 mm advancements , there’s also the 5 piece mandible which supposedly can increase width to a greater extent.

So does anyone have before/afters of a Bsso showcasing width increase of the lower jaw ?

Only 2mm but my gonions are outward so didn’t think I needed much but still didn’t see much of a change
