Wider jaw softmaxes and braces tip?

I understand that I probably can't change bone comp using softmaxes, but any things I can do to widen my jaw muscles? I'm getting braces soon, but I don't know if ill get palate expanders or dentoalvoral expansion at 17. Any tips or info about the braces or training the jaw would be much appreciated

Wider jaw indirectly comes from larger maxilla, so get an mse and train jaw (chew as hard as possible on foods).
