I get it, I’ve gained a lot of weight. It ain’t easy staying as slim as when I first met her when you’re working 80 hours a week as a doctor.

Still fucking hurts to hear when she says she loses attraction for me when I’m on a higher side of the scale as I Yo-Yo in weight dramatically. I wouldn’t in a million years have told her the same.

Just wanted to vent, not sure what y’all would have done or said in the same situation?

Edit: thank you all for your advice. I truly appreciate it. I’ll need to have a conversation with her on how her delivery hurt my feelings pretty bad. I kind of just told her “okay, I’ll work on that” and moved on from there.

I’m inspired to get back to being fit, so I guess I’ll just prove to her I can look better than when we first me
