Will a palatal expander really make me look good?

I'm 17 years old and haven't finished puberty yet. I've noticed that my maxilla is a little underdeveloped, which makes my nose look slightly down, and my cheekbones are also underdeveloped and not very prominent. I'm thinking about getting braces; do you think that would solve the problem? I am a Brazilian guy incel

It doesn't look like much in photos, but in person you can see that my nose is slightly downward-pointing, and that, combined with my acute gonial angle, makes my face look strange from the side.
