will braces for overbite make you look recessed? (or make you look worse in any way)

I’m 15 years old and I have a slight overbite. My teeth are straight, and my orthodontist said I could get braces without having any teeth removed.
my chin is kinda recessed.
I’m wondering how braces for an overbite might affect my appearance. Specifically:

Will they make my chin look more recessed?
Could my face look worse in any way?
Can braces alone improve my facial profile and make me look more attractive, or is the change usually subtle?

Depends how bad your teeth and overbite are. I had a consultation with a couple of dentists about my case - I have a slight overbite and a few teeth on the front lower are too densely packed. What I was told is that in my case braces would improve my bite but mostly by bringing my upper teeth back, then it would require a bimax to finish the correction process. It sounds ideal on paper but I was absolutely hesitant to get any of that, so I opted for a jaw implant and veneers

Its when the start using the elasitcs bands for class 2 when they pull the teeth, but also upper maxilla backwards to close the overbite. But sure if you are a good case and its very slight you dont need the hell bands

yes they are also telling me that they are going to push my upper teeth backwards. is that bad? i dont NEED braces but i was told i could get it if i want to just fix my slight overbite. should i get it? will it ascend me or just make me look worse? i can also send some pics of my overbite
