On a srs note tho.. no it cant. The palate wont be wider via a bimax , however, relative to before.. it will look slightly wider in the mirror because its closer to the mirrior post surgery. Almost unnoticable unless youre severly recessed in the before..

I've a crossbite and asymmetric jaw
The centre of upper teeth don't line with my nose and my lower jaw are further shifted in the same direction and don't line up with my upper teeth
My dentist says everything is alright JFL

Palate will look slightly wider as the chin is moved forward but mse before bimax is much for stable
