no lol the ones that go for a thousand are actavis brand and they only cost that much because activis took it out of the market and its the most famous one with codeine + prometh already mixed, whereas I had to buy them both separately and mix them. Although it can affect anyone, west africans commonly have an enzyme that allows them to break down codeine more efficiently than other genetic groups, affecting the same chemical receptors as heroin or morphine. White people have this enzyme at a much lower rate. If you really liked the effect it gave you that means you probably have the enzyme and you are probably more prone to become addicted to it. However from what I could find the scientific literature does not have much about its effect on skin, although like most depressants I would imagine its effect on skin is marginal whereas stimulants like cocaine or meth can destroy your skin directly.
