will getting a Bimax like give you a long mid face if your jaw doestn have forward growth but narrow growth

It depends on the bimax. If you get downgrafts and cw it can lengthen your midface to a noticeable degree. If you get a different bimax it won’t affect your midface

Edit. It also depends on the kind of downgrafts. There are different types. Some lower your overall maxilla position and thus lengthen the midface. Others don’t. Also lowering the maxilla doesn’t have to result in a longer midface.

I will ask this to a surgeon soon since I got offered downgrafts cw. I don’t like the idea that much tbh
