Will I become recessed if I get my wisdom teeth removed ?

I'm thinking about getting my wisdom teeth removed, but I'm worried it might cause a recessed jaw or negatively affect my facial structure.Can wisdom teeth extraction cause jaw recession, or make the face look worse aesthetically?Also, if I don't remove them, they will ruin my teeth alignment.

I am wondering about the same thing. Look at mine. I've been looking around org and like 20% of people are against and the rest are for. I'm thinking of doing it bc I already extracted the 2 on the right nearly a year ago and haven't seen noticeable differences. If anything I think I look better and its not even asymmetrical although I am still 16-17yo.
