I have a pretty severe deep bite and slight overbite, overlap of about 7-8 mm, ideal is 1-2
but I jut to cover it up, I’ve been jutting for six months ish and it’s gotten to a point where my jaw just naturally goes in that position and I have to consciously push it backward to bite down now.
Anyway, I was reading recently that the upward pressure of the mandible is what keeps the maxilla forward and up, rather than becoming downgrown and recessed, if that’s the case am I cooked because the only time my jaws come anywhere near touching is when I eat.
Sorry for the long yap I just rlly need to know asap before I end up recessing myself for life
