Like the photo. Not me but someone who has the same issue as me, flat, has no angle and looks disgusting. I have a slight very minimal overbite and overjet but after orthro work it’s probably gonna still look like shit

Pretty sure the reason behind this is because of maxillary recession so will a lefort advancement fix this and make the pillithrum more slanted?

Also does anyone know what part of the maxilla cause this? Recessed ans?, overall lefort 1 area?, alveolar process, Etc?

I mean even if it DIDNT fix your philtrum it would still fix so many other flaws because your face is recessed in many ways. My opinion would be to get a bimax it can save ylu

so I can of dug in like a retard and went all in and I think I’m coming to the conclusion it’s mostly on the anterior nasal spine and for that reason being that area has direct control on the curvature and slant on the philtrum.
Other stuff like incisor position as well play a role. Lefort 1 with the advancement of the ans can work but it also depends on the amount advancement u need probably with some downgrafting as well to give that curve but most probably a ans implant is needed to advance that area lore than a lefort probably

The problem is ur focusing on the wrong things. Your philtrum is not the reason your LTN its becuase of your maxilla in general. So fix the bigger things first and then focus on smaller stuff. Fkn flat philtrum can be fixed with like filler asw so its not that deep
