I've gotten mixed answer, some people say it does some people say it doesnt

Lifting weights will ruin your health in many ways. It will lead to sooner epyphaeseal plate closure, yes.

Yes as soon as u lift 1kg ur spine will compress and u will lose 20 cm of height never lift bro

Not as long as you don't damage your back or any bones. In fact it might increase growth. Just be careful not o lift heavy for no reason. Use machines for more safety.

do you have any clue about herniated discs and what it could cause to your growth?

It could maybe if growth plates like while heavy squatting get overstressed or microfractures happen which could signal growth plates to close faster.

Or the growth plates would focus on repairing instead maturing=delayed growth and delayed growth plates closure

Or it wouldnt do anything
