Yes, I have braces which improved it but still a few mm of overbite. My ortho is being stubborn about it but I am fully pressuring him to fix it. But I don’t want to mess up my maxilla with braces any more than I have

Okok. It’s just Cus he told me to stop using elastics even tho my bite isn’t perfect yet. But the other week I told him idgaf about my teeth as long as they look decent they don’t need to be perfect, I said I care more about facial aesthetics. Now they made an appointment with me to discuss but idk what I need.

Depends, what is your braces for? Is it just for your teeth or are they also using elastics for over/under/cross bite? Or something else? It’s weird Cus some ppl get their face fucked up from elastics and braces and some get ascended by it. I think I ascended from it, although my maxilla I think looks a bit flatter from when I was a kid.

Depends how they do it but most likely yes. If u find a good ortho with good methods WHO DOESNT DO EXTRACTIONS it should ascend u.
Fixing palate can widen mid face which is good but it’s not guaranteed it will actually have an affect on face.

Hmm I don’t think so, it seems to have a negative effect on maxillary bone. If I could go back in time to when I got my braces. I would just go ahead and get Orthognathic surgery. It would fix teeth, maxilla and jaw. It will be more expensive tho.

I mean ur only 15. If ur jaw is narrow it’s likely due to u not being developed yet. Just stick to the basics, chew your food fully, never mouth breath, have good oral and neck posture. And maximise testosterone to grow your jaw more, all of these will guarantee your jaw will grow. Bear in mind it won’t be fully developed until 20s
