will putting alpha arbutin and vitamin c under my eyes make them worse

I have dark circles so im using alpha arbutin and vitamin c to get rid of them but i was wondering whether that would worse the under eye area as i already have some white showing and need lower lid retraction...

alpha arbutin and vitamin c will help the skin quality but unless if your dark circles are because of hyperpigmentation they will not do anything

it's actually helping because they're due to hyperpigmentation and have evened out my skin too.

also how do i tell if its hyperpigmentation?

I have olive skin and genetic dark circles but theres no eye bag (extremely small bag if i stretch skin) just discoloration. Really not sure if its veins or just hyperpigmentation. I think its the latter because drinking alot of water/sleep doesnt help

I was thinking about getthing those too.

I got prescribed 15% Azaleic Acid. They say that helps too apparently but again ONLY if its actual discoloration and NOT bone/vein realted.

try stretching out your undereye and seeing if the circle is still there if there is a clear discolored circle while you are stretching it it is most likely hyperpig

You should have look into rskincareaddiction and they have a guide on how to figure out what yours are caused by. I am planning to get fat grafts later but these products seem to have helped lighten them....Azaleic Acid is good for pigmentation too.

it might be a combination of thin skin, hyperpig, or any number of other things you just have to see what it is for you specifically

No bags just discoloration and some dennie morgan lines.
