Will retin a help me skin texture?

These r very unforgiving angles but I’m wondering. Do I need filler for the smile lines?
I’ve used retin a extensively in my past but would stop for periods due to continued flaking / redness in the t zone.

Hats are socially acceptable. Do u ever see Bieber without one? Some girls will rip it off when With them but it’s rare. I usually just brush it over really fast.
