Will using Kojic acid soap consistently without taking breaks cause the skin to get darker in response?

Been using Kojic soap along with some niacinamide vit c serum and have noticed some good results. I read somewhere on here though that if you don’t take a break from kojic every now and then, the skin can actually turn darker in response to the consistent use.

Pretty sure you’ve gotta use them in combination with other things to get notable results. Also takes a while before you see a notable difference. I’ve been using it for around 5 or 6 months.

To my knowledge, no. But if you stop using them, your skin will get darker.
