My mom and sister know I plan to get surgeries. My mom has gotten 1 and my sister plans to as well. I doubt they would ever say anything because it goes 3 ways. And I wouldn't really care if I got "exposed". Unless you're legit subhuman prior you should be fine.

Most surgeries can be spotted if you are with a person very much, they will probably see it and feel it from very subtle things. Especially woman because they know about most surgeries etc. so hiding it long-term is almost impossible. Maybe you can hide the reasons for surgery tho. Bimax is probably the one you can hide best because its your own bone and its not that mainstream yet. But just getting a bimax without any sort of complications like nerve damage etc that could make it noticeable is pretty rare and you should consider yourself lucky. There will also be step offs between the splits. And maybe slight uncanny ness because after all it's not natural.
