Was deemed medically necessary by my dentist, so it’s covered by insurance thank Meeks - no need to pilfer my hardmaxxing funds to cover it. It does mean my CT scan is outdated now though - not that it wouldn’t have already been too old by the time I finally get to actual hardmaxxing jfl
Wasn’t actually planning on dealing with this quite yet - I’m still not sure if I need full blown jaw surgery to maximally ascend my lower third, or if a “simple” implants + genio combo would do the trick. But might as well get it out of the way now, so if I actually do need the osteotomies in the future, I’ll be one step closer already.
Sadly, this is probably the last time I’m going to be stepping foot into the OR for a long while. By my estimate, I need OBO + Tripod fixated with custom infras and supras for my eye area alone. Pair that with lower third work and shit’s getting expensive. Easily 50k+. I’ve been hoping that 2026 would be the year of ascension, but it’s increasingly looking like it might be yet another year later. We’ll see. In the meantime, it’s basically just coping with hobbies in between wageslave shifts for the foreseeable future. Such is the life of a moneyless sub8
