1. Start using the softest brush possible
2. Start following an alkaline diet and he will stop hurting after some time (because after that it will regenerate)

You are a retard, a wisdom teeth hurts because its impacting another teeth or is not erupting. Meaning bone loss in both cases. Yea try to save the teeth and lose more bone then removing and bone grafting would have done theory

So I should just get it removed? Mind you the pain is on and off, last year I had this but for a very short period of time, didn’t come back till like 10 months later

I mean pain only means the teeth is moving thru a nerve at that specific time, most of the times resorption of the bone is pain free but bones are lost

Okay so in general what’s the best course of action? Keeping it or removing it?

Sry to break it to you, if you fucked up young and your arches is not wide enough to hold teeth you cant do much about it except removing teeth or using mse which is expensive as hell and time consuming

If there is not enough room you remove it, else you save it. Its that simple. Ask a orthodontics, but the thing is if you dont have room you will never have enough room except if you use bone expanders which is braces for 2 years and expensive as hell

I did dental x ray of my teeth and the wisdom tooth in question grew in completely sideways but I heard braces also have slight risk of recession

Basically I read removing wisdom tooth causes recession,
It doesn’t its a meme really. U can remove them with no problems. Keep ur other teeth 100% tho. Extracting molars can cause recession.

It’s a meme? I swear a orthodontist said that they see the “youthfulness” gone when they remove their patients wisdom teeth

It's actually common for male models to get their wisdom teeth extracted for hollower cheeks.
It's basically the cheek area that loses the "youtfhulness"

Good job in stimulating bone resorption from impacted wisdom teeth, high iq

Lets be real the science is unclear on it, sure it could cause bone resorption through poor hygiene but it could also stimulate osteoblasts by staying in the jaw, but I irrigate the gum flap every day and use clorhexidine whenever the gum gets irritated and have no signs of decay yet. As soon as it starts getting unclean though Ill probably get them extracted

Not necessarily. The gum could be infected due to inadequate brushing technique.

Short term get a water flosser and interdental brushes and make sure it stays super clean. Sore teeth are usually infected teeth and they get like that due to bad angles and crowding.

Go to dentist or ortho and ask if they can turn it.

Remember if you need bimax it has to come out anyway.

Go to a dentist at the end of the day they went to med school for 7 years so they know what’s best.
If they say your wisdom needs pulling it needs pulling. Especially if it causes pain. Don’t be surprised no body this generation has enough mouth space to accommodate them anymore.
Ur prob still recessed anyway won’t make a diff

It doesnt, they can cut around it
