Within 20 years your device will not turn on without an internet connection.

Slowly they will create an operating system that stores everything digitally on a cloud network. There won't be a need for a physical harddrive or SSD.

But the consequences of that means that all of your data can be locked if you don't have access to the internet. A total hamstring.

They will try to sell it as something positive. It will be impossible for your data to be corrupted by accidental fall of a PC or water damage. You will be able to access all of your information/video games/files on multiple different computers if you have the password so it is convenient.

Perhaps in 10 years they will create a fully functioning sentient A.I. similar to Skynet. It will be safe, effective, more secure than any database in the world etc.

Everyone will move over to it because it will be a nobrainer especially for business. If you don't move over to it, people will question why. Do you have illicit content on your computer you are scared of having revealed to a cloud network? Do you sell drugs, illegal porn, weapons etc over the internet? Do you have information of people who do that?

That is how they shut down opposition to it. You know how people are.

Its a good thing the Lord gave us the power of discernment to be able to prepare for these things then. People should be using it more and they might be able to avert disaster before it happens. Most people will wander into this new reality completely unaware.

I can understand why. It's hopeless to fight against the devil physically as the physical world is his domain.

Not letting the problems of this world infect your mind and heart is a good thing.

Yes but at the same time don't become reliant on them. Or if you use your PC make sure its for normie work related stuff only. Don't be downloading the greatest story never told on ur new PC connected to skynet. Thats a one way ticket to getting a missile flying into your house.

very interesting post. but I am not a fan of such topics, because after 2020 it is difficult to predict what will happen even after 6 months. At the moment, I'm more concerned with the technical process issue. because the actual size of the transistor is 3 nm, and the size of the atom is 0.1 nm. according to Moore's law we will reach this number less than 6 years

I had a discussion with someone else about Moores Law and the inevitable halt of transistor development.

Interestingly, the development of A.I. seems to be coinciding with the transistor limit. I think a fully sentient A.I. might be able to somewhat offset the problems you are talking about. Or at least mask them.

Moores Law states that sometime this decade we will hit that limit.

Interesting that it seems to be lining up with A.I. achieving AGI

So do I though I dont use reddit and I use YouTube much more than anything else.

But its the principle that I have issue with. The argument that most people use their PC's for very surface level stuff will be used. You will be looked at with suspicion if you are against the whole thing because it signifies that you might be using your PC for other things (non-normie) things.

When in reality, I just don't like the idea of not having access to google documents or the occasional video game without an internet connection.
