If an Indian guy presents himself well, is dressed in accordance with Western fashion, and is reasonably attractive, then women will swipe right. Here’s the problem: most recent Indian immigrants to the United States still have their heads stuck in India. They don’t know how to interact with “foreigners,” despite now trying to eke out an existence in their country.

Downvote me to hell, but we all know the average desi man thinks that white women are promiscuous whores who only need to be asked for sex to have it. And if an Indian guy does date or sleep with a white women, he will never take her seriously, because he just wants a nice virgin girl his mum found for him in some UP village.

So here’s the cold truth: Indian men, especially first gen Indian men, have a bad reputation. Their accents aren’t considered attractive. Many don’t know how to dress, how to choose flattering pictures. They have backwards attitudes about women. And the ones who don’t get grouped in with the rest, until they prove themselves to be different. They will be seen as the same Indian guys who sit in the back of the bar sipping on club soda and waiting for girls to get too drunk to say no (yes I have seen this happen many times).

It is wrong and it is racist. But it is how it is.

You have a point there. The creepiest foreigners around women that I remember years ago were guys from Saudi Arabia that were in flight school in my town. Back then they still managed to get a few women just by throwing some money around but if it were now I doubt they would get any attention at all even with the money as some were really creepy in their behavior even after being rejected.
