He seemed like a normal ass guy and was very polite and calm but I asked him what got him put in there and he started talking about this girl and how he stalked her and how he plans to continue stalking her after he leaves. We made bracelets in the art group and his was obviously her name with heart beads and shit. The day of release his dad and brother basically showed up and refused to let him leave the hospital.

Crazy because the dude genuinely had no reason to be let go. Bro was in the ward proudly exclaiming how he plans on buying a phone immediately so he can start messaging her again. Those wards are literally fucking pointless. They had motherfuckers like me in there for getting to angry and breaking shit but they were willing to let a legitimate lunatic back on the street.

He was actually really cool and alright. Like u couldn't even tell he was a lunatic, we hung out a lot.

I get the struggle of psychiatrists because how tf do you even solve that? I knew one guy that had to be sent to a state hospital because he kept coming back to the ward and the medicine didn’t do shit to bring him back down to earth. He was also a very normal seeming guy.

At the same time though, if these places weren’t just insurance scams made to push as many pills on you as possible then perhaps they could have figured it out

Even the real doctors at the wards I went to were fucking terrible. the general consensus is they just throw you in there. We got one 30 minute sit down with a doctor every 3 days and you could just tell these mfers have no intention of trying to understand you. they are just going through the motions and getting paid handsome salaries to basically sit down with people for a few hours and ask them a list of questions and hopefully peddle a pill. It makes me sick.
