I've been thinking a lot about this, Yes, I still believe looks matter a lot in not just dating but how your treated in general, but this is what I've been thinking about:
A girl can just download a dating app and can get any guy. She can easily upgrade. Either most women don’t know that and don’t want to risk losing their provider, or in a truly good world she actually loves him and won’t leave him for a better looking guy. If that was truly the case then this somewhat disproves the connotation that women only chase after looks, because if they chased after looks then they’d just date and fuck exclusively chads.
Yes, I know there are women who do that, but I still think most of you are overestimating how many women are using dating apps. 75% of tinder is male. 67.4% of Bumble users are male. This already somewhat disproves that most women use dating apps. Also "Chads" may get a lot of short term attention, but long term partner preferences mainly skew towards emotional compatibility and reliability.
One extremely important thing I forgot to mention is that women are both visual and emotional creatures, and they are way more emotional than men. Looks signify emotion, whereas some normies can probably also signify emotion in other ways such as being physically bigger than her, (frame, height, muscles or body hair), knowing how to actually talk so you come across as an interesting guy so she remembers you. Also having friends is extremely important, meeting girls through connections.
