Most people are unable to tell the difference quickly between something like 6’0 and 6’2 or 6’0 and 5’10 unless two people are standing beside each other. 6’0 or taller seems attractive to women because it’s like the guy has crossed some milestone from 5 feet something beta to 6 foot tall sigma Chad with good genetics because 6 is higher than 5. You’ll mostly never see a woman saying “I want a guy above 5’11” because firstly 5’11 takes more effort to say than 6’0, and it’s only an inch away from 6’0. You might see them say “I want a guy above 5’10” because it’s an even number and far enough from 6’0 to make a difference. It’s more about how it sounds
It’s like how a 9.99 100 meter dash seems more impressive when you first look at it than a 10.0 100 meter dash. It’s because you see the 9 first and it feels faster even if it’s only a hundredth of a second.
If the inch was slightly reduced in scale and 6’0 became like 5’10 or something, people would still want 6’0 even though it would become an even smaller percentage of the population because like I said 6 is higher than 5.
