Not really only amnesia, you can change a lot without surgery

never denied that, gym/tan/skin-care can do loads for most users.

but making already good-looking people even better looking is where the magic in surgeries happens, @Salludon just being another example

and calling surgeries gay because you don't have the money/will-power to do them is just as dumb.
you're improving yourself as well, surgery isn't any more gay than a skin-care routine or going to the gym purely for aesthetic purposes
