All of those people that called him a fraud were worried that their pagan gods that were their gimmick would lose relevance that’s why they made a mockery and assaulted him all while humiliating him everyday. He even made a pact with them; but what can people that pray to rocks hold onto? The prophet was the most merciful human being on the planet. He went to a village to show them the truth but the elders of that village ordered the youngins of the village to stone him. So the angel of the mountains came to him and asked if he would pick two mountains and crush all of the inhabitants but he declined only because he thought those children could one day become muslim, and keep in mind this was also when blood was running down his head all the way to his toes.
