Ok, this is going to sound stupid but, my dad broke a bone in his hand playing basketball. And he has a cast on and for some reason his bone isn't really healing that much. But he was talking about how if it doesn't heal/grow, the doctors will use some electric bone stimulator (or something like that) to make the bone grow and heal again. (Like the vibrations or electric shock or whatever will make the bones grow) And I was thinking, if this thing can somehow stimulate your bones to heal in a fracture, could it also stimulate your bones to just grow more WHILE you are in puberty?
I remember seeing a few threads about vibration and how it may improve bone growth. I don't know, what do you guys think about this? Also, do any of you know what treatment my dad was talking about?
