Would I benefit from fixing my ltn bite by a decent amount

I don't wanna post a picture so il explain it in detail. I basically have a bad overbite where my front teeth look decently flared which is causing me to have a decently narrow arch (although my molars are decently wide when measured) but I don't have crooked teeth or anything. my lower teeth are also fucked because its narrow and my front teeth are crowded and all the other teeth are pointing inwards (im not sure if thats normal or not)

my upper bite looks something like the bottom although my lower jaw is a normal bite. it could be worse or better but something like that. also my maxilla isnt that developed

Now just imagine a narrower upper arch and a narrower jaw (although my jaw dosent look bad or too narrow, I just have a shit ramus/gonial not sure. my chin isnt square but its average)

like 37 - 39ish. its not that wide either. but this is just for like the last molars

until what age is mse applicable? im like 14.3 but I can't drop like 5k on that shi adm. 5k under the assumption I would add in braces aswell. Can you still do it in your 20s? also would removing my overbite/overjet ascend me even if my maxilla is already pretty bad in terms of fwg?

I have a deep bite and overjet tho. I went to an airway orthodontist, and he said my jaws were aligned but he was going to use braces and elastics, the elastics were specifically for moving my canine back to where it's supposed to be; it's like a tooth ahead of where it should be and that is what he said is causing the overjet.
