Would it be good or bad for me to take melatonin as a teen?

I am 15 and was wondering if it would be bad for me to take melatonin (1mg) per night (probably gonna take it with magnesium glycinate) to improve my sleep. Sleep isn't cope because it is important for growth and most kids don't get enough of it. Would taking melatonin be bad because I might get dependant on it? Cause better/deeper sleep = more growth, right? :feelswat:

yes take it, sleep is the most important looksmax, without sleep you look and feel like shit

melatonin is mostly placebo i don’t remember the study but it doesn’t actually improve sleep compared to placebo pills
 
It also acts as an AI so it will keep your growth plates open so take it
