so with MY underbite in particular, its not really noticeable with my mouth closed but obviously when smiling or talking its visible, however from a normal side profile its hardly visible. i wanna lose face fat for the sole reason of my facial bones appearing more defined BUT with this im not sure if my underbite would show more as the bone would show more (idk if thats a dumb thought), or does it not work like that? i dont wanna go through the effort of losing the fat to have to put it back on due to the underbite ruining my appeal. compared to others underbites mine looks almost nothing alike, however obviously the same bone issue applies so i was just wondering if it would or wouldnt.

Just get a LF1 or BSSO setback depending on how bad the underbite is and what is tje cause, and you will never have to worry about it again

Yeah thats true while bones are still growing its better to just do simple orthodontist treatments before any surgery is done once u stop growing its best to get a surgery for the underbite

So the way u fix a recessed maxilla, is to also recess the mandible? are we serious right now??? Lefort is in the litter of the options but until this dude shows us his side profile, BSSO Setback is one of the worst suggestions u can suggest.

Plus, with his description of his underbite, it seems highly unlikely he has prognathism, so a BSSO Setback is not even gonna be medically qualifiable to Lefort.

yeah ngl im not dropping my sideprof on this site but i wouldnt say i need a BSSO setback, i think a LF1 is the most logical surgery for me
