Yes I’m falling for the back sleeping propaganda. Although I was wondering if the gravity would result in my face not growing any more forward or maybe even the opposite because of the constant pressure for ~8 hours a day causing it to remodel? And if sleeping on side causes asymmetry because one side is getting more growth, doesn’t that mean that applying pressure over time causes growth? So back sleeping would leave you with less bones but more harmonious?

tldr by chatgpt for this essay
If side sleeping causes asymmetry from uneven pressure and pressure promotes growth, then wouldn't back sleeping limit forward growth but result in a more symmetrical face?

Sleeping on side dont cause asymmetry, may it can cause you pressure on your back/neck (this can cause assymmetry) if you don’t sleep like that usually or your spine isn’t alligned (if you use a too big pillow for exemple) . Just change side every day. Human are made to sleep on side btw. And idk if back sleeping can slow foward growth ;)

Depends at the height they sleep at
If they sleep 20meters from the surface for example. 20 x 9.8 x mass of skull (8 kg for this eg) = around 1568newtons of constant force down on their face for 8 hours. So 🤷‍♂️
