so lets say there is this guy who's mother has downsyndrome.

this guy's dad was a nurse and his job was to take care of special needs, one of which is this guy's mom. long story short she ends up getting pregnant and it is only revealed that he is the dad after he quits his job and she gives birth. did he not rape her or am i crazy?

Rape should be defined legally, not morally

As there isn't a clear moral consensus about when consent becomes valid

And legally, pretty sure you can pump and dump a downie

what if the person lived in a facillity for people with disabillities?
unsure tbh, depends on why they were at the facility

as long as they are not mentally impaired to the point they can't give consent then it's moral

Why are you asking other people about morals

It's not possible to draw lines in the sand between microdifferences in physical traits

There's no real difference between a 17 355 day year old and an 18 year old

Where do you draw the line of consent?

Is consent uniformly impossible for so and so?

With your pre-existing moral judgements, is amoral simply defined as what you have to cross a line for, and not what is ultimately true?

Mob morality is the law, it's a negotiation from the top which attempts to maintain social order, and you are asking me for mob morality

i enforce morals onto others, i dont have a lot of morals as to i would allow myself to do. i personally would have sex with a downie but i think if somebody else does it then its rape.

morality is a set of values that have evolved both biologically and culturally to allow us to operate better in groups, and be stronger in groups.

The reason women can't consent when drunk, is because they are much more likely to regret it than a sober woman.

A woman with down syndrome is unlikely to ever neurotypical.

Age of consent laws exist to reduce teen pregnancy which would be bad for the economy, and people's careers.

Society is usually unaware of why different morals have evolved (culturally and biologically) so the explanations we tell ourselves like "cognitive capacity to consent" are incorrect oversimplifications.

So a woman with downsyndrome has every right to make a family with whoever she chooses, as she's already had a chance to finish highschool and gain employment, if applicable.

Morality has also evolved to be simple and enforceable, and have the right incentives. If you were to limit the freedom of people with down syndrome, then some parents would just homeschool lie and cheat so their kids never get a diagnosis. It would discourage proper diagnosis and care.
