Would walking around in a cape seem NT, or could one of you pull it off?

I was thinking of buying a cape with a flag on it, and walking around in it -- want to make it part of my style.

But I'm worried many will just see it as some cringe, mental retardation, try hard sort of thing rather than "fashionable."

What do you guys think on here? Would you buy and wear a cape and walk around in it unironically?

What about gloves, a cape, and an entire fitted kind of look? I want to make my own style but fear the blowback.
