From a legal perspective, No because I don't have rights to take any human's life cuz the constitution doesn't allows it (self defence is another story)

Also from a moral or ethical perspective, No because I beleive ethics is still necessary to move forward as a society and ensure stability in our society. Democratic laws is a good way to establish this ethical laws, since the individuals of a country vote for them rather than a particular religion or dictator or a particular class.
